Woodlign (pronounced wood-line) is a family business. We started the shop to do work we’re proud of, with people we like, for customers who become friends.
If you have a part, a product, or a problem that needs to be designed and made, here’s what working with us feels like: you send us the tricky part, we sweat the details so you don’t have to, and it shows up right, on the day we said. Then the next one’s even easier. That’s the whole idea.
Sean has over 30 years of experience as a finish carpenter and in construction, and has managed a few construction companies over the years. That background, plus engineering and CNC in the shop, is how we take a drawing from idea to a part you can run again. He started the shop in 2020 with the goal of teaching his third son the trade just as his brothers learned when they were younger. It is now a family business.
While not at work, Sean loves to spend time with his family, play games, and smoke a good brisket. His favorite place to travel is Scotland with his wife.

Tyler has been in the construction field for 16 years. He grew up helping his dad in their home shop working on various projects. Tyler enjoys working with the CNC machine and working with wood each day. He spends his free time hanging out with his wife, cooking, playing board and card games, disc golfing, and traveling the world. He and his wife have been to 12 different countries.
Ross has 8 years in the construction industry. He likes the unique variety of custom projects in the shop as well as working with people to create ideas and turn those ideas into the finished product. When Ross is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, and working in his home workshop. Some of his favorite places he has traveled to are the Greek Islands and Israel.
Shelby has 6 years of experience working in IT and other programs that keep the office running. She enjoys keeping everything organized so that work can flow smoothly in the office as well as the shop. When Shelby is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, playing games and watching movies. Her hobbies also include gardening and taking care of her cats, Flynn and Lyra.
Alleigh has 4 years of experience being an office administrator. She enjoys helping wherever is needed in the office as well as oversees social media for the company. While not working, Alleigh enjoys spending time with her husband. She also loves to cook, bake, and travel. Her hobbies also include painting, needle felting, and listening to crime podcasts.
Trevor started working with wood at a young age, learning skills from his dad in their shop at home. He now has 13 years of experience in the field and is well versed in using software to sketch plans for a variety of projects. While not working, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, disc golfing, rock climbing, and playing Star Wars card games. Trevor also dabbles in entomology.
Donovan has 4 years of experience in the construction field professionally, and as a hobby he has been working with wood for 8 years. He likes working with his coworkers and the shop environment. In his free time Donovan loves to spend time writing music, playing musical instruments, and even making musical instruments.
Greg has 13 years of experience working with CNC machines and digital design and printing. He started out as an apprentice and learned his skills on the job. Greg likes the precision of the work and that there is a balance of physical and mental activities. In his free time he likes to read books, ride motorcycles, and play video games.
Caley has 29 years of experience in woodworking. He started out in residential carpentry as well as working with his brother, Sean, and learned cabinetry installation from a friend. He enjoys the variety of custom work and the challenges of tricky furniture or fixtures. What he enjoys most is training others and working with his boys, Riley and Kieran. When Caley isn’t at work he likes exploring the outdoors and hanging out with his friends.
Dusty has 20 years of experience working in construction. He joined the shop in 2021. Dusty likes building things with his hands and enjoys working with wood. He enjoys spending time in and with nature, listening to music, and spending time with his wife.
Ted has 40 years of experience in the trade. He started framing houses when he was 18 and got into finish cabinetry when he was 29. He loves finish carpentry the most because he likes the detail that goes into a project as well as seeing the outcome. Ted cares for fish in a saltwater reef tank, collects old pocket watches, and rides motorcycles.
Jim joined the team at the beginning of 2026. For 45 years he worked in metal manufacturing; this is his first year in a wood shop. He likes learning about the equipment and new skills. One of Jim’s hobbies is lutherie (making and repairing guitars, as well as playing them). He also enjoys gardening.
Shylah has been in the construction field for nearly 5 years. Before she started here, she spent two years in a construction class at a technical academy. She grew up helping her dad with projects around their home. Shylah loves hands-on work and enjoys seeing a project go from raw material to a finished product. She also loves to cook and bake, and likes crocheting.
Riley has been with the shop for 2 years. He started working with his dad on projects around the house and in the shop at home. He likes the variety of work as well as the atmosphere. In his free time Riley enjoys photography, playing games, and snowboarding in the mountains.
This is Natalie’s first job. She wanted to get into woodworking because she wanted to do physical work and feel like she was doing something useful. Her favorite part of the job so far is learning new skills from her coworkers. Her hobbies include archery, painting, and crocheting.
This is Reese’s first time working in a carpentry shop. Prior to coming here, Reese helped his dad lay concrete and installed chimneys. His favorite thing about the job is finally being able to work in a carpentry shop, and the people he works with. Reese likes to play disc golf, hunt, fish, and spend time bird watching.
Maya attended a construction program while she was still in school and gained experience working alongside her dad. From the time she was just a little girl, she remembers being on job sites with him. Maya’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband. She also enjoys playing disc golf, running, and organizing things.
Kyle has a year of experience doing this work. One of his favorite things is the new skills he gets to learn, and he appreciates the training from his fellow shop mates. Kyle likes to snowboard, play games, and hang out with his friends.
Mike is new to carpentry. Before coming to work with us, he worked on a dairy farm for many years and then worked in fire protection. Mike enjoys the variety of work in the shop. While not at work, Mike volunteers his time helping others. He also loves to garden and watch baseball (Mariners and Red Sox).
